There's a rule of thumb in the planning world that for every one minute of planning you will save ten minutes of doing. We feel like this is a conservative number when it comes to things that you do regularly.
Both Natascha and I love to camp and because we do it so much, we came up with packing lists to make it easier for ourselves which saves us sooooo much time!
Natascha prints up a new one each time, I store my list inside a plastic sleeve and use a dry erase marker to check things off.
Having these lists makes it SOOOOO easy to prepare for camping, which tends to require a lot of "stuff".
Another idea is if you have supplies, such as cooking utensils, that you only use for camping, you can store them in a storage bin labeled "CAMPING - COOKING" to make it that much easier.
Customize the list so it fits your needs and get camping!
Studies show that camping is a great way to reset your circadian rhythm and I find that three days camping feels like a week of rest.
